Hi, my name is Veronica Lyndell,
I am Maine native who received a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College in 1978 and a Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NEWENCO) in 1982. My residencies were at the Dorchester Eye Clinic, the Joslin Diabetic Center, and the NEWENCO Pediatric Clinic all located in Boston, Massachusetts. From 1988 to1995 I practiced with an eye surgeon in Lewiston, Maine and lectured extensively on eye disease management for the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. From 1995 to present I have been in private practice in Camden, Maine where I live with my family.
In 2001, I received my advanced therapeutic glaucoma license from the Maine Board of Optometry, which is the highest level optometric license available. I am also member of the Maine Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
